I put a few items into my cart but didn’t complete my order. I went back a few days later to add another item so that I could meet the minimum to get free shipping. I fast informed TG that one of my items dropped in price by $0.14. This now meant that I was under the free shipping threshold by $0.07. Grrrr...
I kept adding items, but none of them were from Amazon so they didn’t count towards free shipping.i I think I’ve finally found an item that I can use, namely a DisplayPort cable, that will get me over the threshold, provided that I can find one shipped by Amazon themselves.

The key phrase is “add-on item.”

It’s my own fault. If I’d figured out what to purchase whilst the drive case was still at the higher price I would have been OK. This is one time that a price reduction bit me in the ass...

One nice thing about Prome membership is that there isn’t any minimum for free shipping except for some of the very small add-on things. I’ve bought tons of $10 items with 1-click on a whim with free prime shipping.

I was going to get Prime, but when I was unemployed last year Amazon cut my credit limit and I couldn’t afford it. Then, when it was discounted, my account was tied up with an incorrect expensive battery case for my new phone and again I couldn’t afford it.
I’ll probably spring for it in August when I have an extra paycheck. I was, however, disappointed to see that a couple of the TV programs that I wanted to watch aren’t part of their prime video selection and that they would cost me more on a monthly basis. Again, grrrr...

I was super upset when Archer disappeared from Prime a while back.

For future reference: http://www.filleritem.com/
Type in the amount you need for free shipping and it will give you choices of “crap” to add for free shipping eligibility.

Oh crap - there’s another one!
Just like Netflix. I used to watch all sorts of stuff, but nowadays there aren’t as many things I want to see as compared to just a few short years ago.

Hulu has a whole bunch of stuff I would watch -I think they poached the contracts for a lot of shows from other streaming services. But I can’t bring myself to pay $12/mo. for yet another streaming service.

Wife insisted on getting prime. Have to say, it’s really convenient
